The Weight Maintenance perspective shift
Build a Kitchen Life That Supports Your Health
For most of my 18 years as a personal trainer,
I couldn't figure out why sustainable weight loss wasn't happening.
Not for my clients. Not fully, anyway.

GLP-1s, calorie restriction, low carb, sugar-free, Pilates, HIIT — you name it, they've tried it. And yet the weight never stayed off. The habits never stuck. The same people kept coming back with the same struggle.
Â
And I kept asking myself the same question: what am I missing?
Â
I looked at my own weight loss journey. How come I could maintain my weight without restricting calories, tracking food, or doing extreme workouts — and still sleep well at night?
Â
Then it hit me: the kitchen.
Â
Every client who told me they drink too much, go out to dinner too often, don't like to cook, or haven't gone grocery shopping yet — they all shared one thing. They didn't feel good in their kitchen.
Â
It used to be the same for me. Packaged snacks, diet foods dressed up as health food, boxed dinners, and just enough cooking knowledge to get by feeding a family of five.
Â
What changed wasn't a program. It was me digging into my own real ADD-induced roadblocks and accidentally building a kitchen that worked for me — organized, stocked, and set up for being a mom, wife, and business owner.
Â
I'm not a perfect cook. I'm still learning skills right alongside the rest of us. But when my son developed multiple food allergies all at once, my kitchen confidence is what carried us through. That's when I realized this wasn't just about weight loss maintenance.

It's about what happens to your family when you finally feel confident in your kitchen.
